Behind the Scenes
My studio is where original sculptures and casts are created using the Body Casting Design technique. For many years I have been capturing the human body, emotion and a fleeting moment in a lasting artistic form. Every piece is made by hand and individually, with an emphasis on detail, authenticity and the unique character of each person.
The studio is a place where I combine classical sculpture, modern materials and my own artistic methods. Besides female nudes and reliefs, it is also where death masks, artistic face casts, experimental objects and design artefacts are created.
Behind the Scenes offers a look into the process of how the works are made — from the casting of the body itself to the final finishing of surfaces, colours and details, all the way to their presentation at exhibitions.
