Dragon drawing on the body: work in progress

The Body as a Canvas for My Vision

For me, every body cast is a unique canvas. With this particular silver torso I took on the challenge of embodying the Chinese symbol of strength – the Lóng. First I had to perfectly transfer the outline onto the sculpture. This is the most important and most difficult phase, because the line of the dragon must harmoniously follow every curve of the body. As you can see, so far I am only working in black, with which I define all the details – the scales, the whiskers and the overall silhouette.

Precision of Detail

The photos capture the moment when I focus solely on a precise line. This is not the final state yet! It’s a process. Even though the outlines are finished, the sculpture is still waiting for a real awakening with colour and depth. My goal now is to start shading and adding colour accents so that the dragon optically rises from the surface and gains a true three-dimensional effect. At this moment it is just a promise that will soon become reality.

Watch Me Finish It

I love this process, even though it is demanding. Every hour spent on detail brings me closer to my goal. If you are curious how the fusion of human form and mythical power will turn out, keep following me! Soon I will show how this silver dragon gets its final shine and colours that will transform the work into an eternal symbol of transformation.
